Just recently, I posted an article chronicling a mid-2000s attempt to resurrect the Studebaker name for a sport utility vehicle. As I was writing this topic, I was conflicted on how I wanted to present it. For more than 25 years, it has become commonplace for me to share my work in the form of written articles (dibbling into the occasional photography when permitted to). A first for me, I have also assembled a video presentation for the Avanti Studebaker XUV.
For many years, I've grown to envy the ability that numerous individuals have shown in showcasing similar content through narrated videos. Bright Suns Film, Defunctland, Ruairidh MacVeigh, nascarman History, IT'S HISTORY and Big Car are among some YouTube channels that have gained my admiration for consistency creating some sensational documentary videos.
It was one thing to not have a channel monetized but to have lose it because YouTube decided to chance a deal with me was insulting. In outrage, I proceeded to remove many of the channel's videos after monetization was lost. I also knew it was only going to be a matter of time for when YouTube decides to run ads on non-monetized videos. A practice that YouTube was confirmed to have done.
That being said, I recognize that YouTube is the best place to get exposure on a video. For that reason, myself and the best for Carfyi.ca, I feel I am required to put aside their past insult against me. The Avanti Studebaker XUV video will be uploaded on the site about a week after the Dailymotion video goes online.
First of all, I didn't want to create another history-themed video using an AI voice. That type of content is already a dime a dozen on YouTube and had been coming to question if AI was more involved in such work. Secondly, it is not my nature to pick the easiest ways to accomplish a job. There is so much skills for me to develop and speech had almost always been one I have much to improve upon. The voice you're hearing is one that have spent too much time being pressed into silence and one I have taught to hate. There are two destructive moments to a person's confidence; listening to those who don't support you and believing they are right to not support me.
Thank you to everyone who has read this message and/or has watched the video.
