Photo Credit: Chris Nagy/Car FYI Canada If not for the ongoing, unprecedented world issue that required our attention, yesterday (Sunday, February 21st), the 2021 edition of the Canadian International AutoShow would have wrapped in what would have certainty been a memorable occasion.  A little more than a year and a week ago, I returned from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre where I absorbed the science, technology and beauty of the modern auto industry. At the time, I was in the presence of concepts such as the BMW Vision M NEXT and Infiniti QS Inspiration, production vehicle symbolizing Canada’s changing roadways including the Ford Mustang Mach E and Audi e-tron Sportback as well as the super exotics like the Bugatti La Voiture Noire. There was little thought attending the 2020 Canadian International AutoShow that the next year’s event would have been cancelled. Honda Begins Beta-Testing of 2016 HR-V SLF "Selfie Edition"

The Japanese have long been a driver for the implementation of new technology. Transistor radios and CD players  are just a few items immediately coming to mind when thinking of Japan's push to make certain technology's a part of our everyday life. Today, Honda has unveiled a special version of their HR-V compact crossover provides greater integration into lifestyles where we enjoy sharing our use of technology. Entering into a "beta-test" stage, the Honda HR-V SLF is designed to allow self-portrait making (better known as selfies) to be snapped. A hands-free system using 10 different cameras positioned around Honda crossover's interior and exterior, the SLF edition model was created recognizing research indicating one-third of all images taken by people between the ages of 18 and 24 are selfies.
