The Hoonigan Racing driver has committed to run all 12 rounds of the 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy (informally named World RX) with the support of Ford Performance. Having completed in just two events part of the World RX tour in his career prior, Block's entrance into the series have all indication of being a competitive first full season. Ken Block Scores Opening Round Win in 2015 Red Bull Global Rallycross Season

Photo Credit: Global Rallycross Championship Kicking off the 2015 Red Bull Global Rallycross, the series assembled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to start a high-flying, fast-pace 12-race calendar that also includes the non-points 2015 Summer X Games round. A series rapidly gaining traction amongst major teams, the off-season saw IndyCar/NASCAR/sports car team Chip Ganassi Racing join-up with the competition competing Canadian driver Steve Arpin for the full season for 2015. Despite the potential strength of the newcomer team, it was the experienced teams prevailing after the final round of the Fort Lauderdale event at the Bahia Mar Resort. The ten-car finals featured a first row consisting of Ken Block, Steve Arpin and Scott Speed. At the start of the 10-lap final round, it was Block and his Ford Fiesta ST surging forward and never looked back to take the opening race.
