Ford Mustang Sends Sonic Boom Forth With Mach 1 Revival For 2021

Photo Credit: Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited With more than 55 years of history for the Ford Mustang, it’s amusing that much of the car’s decades on the market is focused on the passion and enthusiasm created in the first five years of the original pony car’s history. Monikers such as GT, Shelby GT350 and Cobra Jet have been revived on numerous occasions. Ford has also celebrated the appearance of a green Mustang GT fastback in the 1968 Steve McQueen movie Bullitt with a commemorative edition vehicle twice in the past 20 years. Even if we have not experienced the Mustang’s history first-hand, the vehicle has a knack of drawing out the emotions found in fans of speed. Set to appear in its fourth incarnation for the 2021 model year, the famed Mach 1 name will again ride on the Ford Mustang in a spirited high-performance revival. When the Mach 1 was introduced by Ford in 1969, the nameplate was instantly coveted for V-8 performance. Providing available 52 years later, the 2021 Ford...

Toyota’s Offering Super-sized Supra Lineup for 2021

Photo Credit: Toyota Canada Teased for almost two decades by rumours and the appearance of the FT-1 Concept, the Toyota GR Supra became a production reality for 2020 in a tight, flashy sports car package. The revival of the Supra became Toyota’s quickest accelerating road car sold and featured a wide array of modern performance handling aids such as an adaptive suspension. A debut that saw a fast following for their fast GR Supra, Toyota were immediately relieved when the first production model of the sports car snagged 2.1 million dollars US in June of 2019. After scorching roads in its opening year run, the Toyota GR Supra is ready to lay down even more tire tracks for 2021 model year.  Entering only its sophomore year, the GR Supra is already undergoing some defining updates. Maintaining a low, elegant body style, intimate two-seat cabin and its rear-wheel drive layout, the Toyota GR Supra does enter 2021 with a new sporting spirit with a revision made to its engine performance....

Audi Unveils World's First Electric Powered Compressor with All-New SQ7 TDI

Photo Credit: Audi AG When Audi introduced the design of their all-new Q7 last year, the luxury car producer prepared the marketplace for some radical technologies. The premium sport utility vehicle loses 325 kilograms (716.5 pounds) compared to the previous model, drivers are presented with Audi’s digital virtual cockpit and an e-tron plug-in hybrid version of the Q7 have already been established. As the spring approaches, the Audi Q7 line gains a high-performance spirt thanks to the automaker’s S model tailoring. For the European market, an Audi SQ7 TDI provides stellar acceleration through many innovative means. Despite the recent emission-cheating turmoil surrounding the presence of Volkswagen Group-supported TDI diesel products in the North America, the power source line remains a strong driver for the automaker’s brands in Europe. Not just a large portion of the sales volume of luxury brand Audi for fuel efficiency and torque production for everyday driving, diesel power...

Polar Alignment: Volvo Takes Total Control of Polestar

Photo Credit: Chris Nagy It is an art for a premium automobile brand to provide a special aura around their vehicles. Historically, there are two ways to win over an affluent clientele. The first method is luxury features such as leather seating and advanced technology suites provide a comfort-oriented impression of high-end motoring. Another way a premium marque attracts special prominence is through performance. While luxury cars would often deliver more than enough power for a boulevard ride, the recent direction has been to infusing outright, pavement-burning high-performance into a model line-up. In doing so, boutique performance groups have grown inside popular luxury brands. BMW has their M models, Cadillac features a V line and Mercedes-Benz adds sensationalism to their vehicle lin-up through AMG. In 2013, Volvo joined the tailored high-performance fight through a partnership with a Swedish motorsport team. Founded in 1996, Polestar Racing instantly developed...

200-Mile Per Hour 2016 Cadillac CTS-V Unveiled Ahead of NAIAS

Right now, many children are studying their family Christmas trees studying whether the gifts addressed to them will be the highly desired toy or the less intriguing clothing item. When we were young, we were taught waiting would be rewarded on December 25th (sometimes Christmas Eve depending on the family tradition). Sometimes, the anxiety of delivering a gift could prove difficult for the gift giver. Cadillac just couldn't wait until January's North American International Auto Show to show the world their latest gift to the performance luxury sedan market. The latest iteration of the General Motors' premium brand's beloved performance luxury, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan has arrived ahead of Santa Claus' sleigh. At First Glance: It could be said from the debut of the 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan that engineers were provided with quite an elegantly athletic shape to work with when creating t...

Ford Performance Promises to be New United Front for Blue Oval Excitement

High-speed performance cars convey an international language. Through the emission of sound from a sports car`s exhaust, the translation more efficient than any program on with Rosetta Stone software is realized. Despite the internationally recognized sound of performance, not all speed demons on four wheels have a voice in every major country in the world. Some cars are delayed travel to continents while others are created to satisfy a specific country (though envied across the planet). In a time where reaching a global market is becoming more important for auto companies, performance cars must become world travelers. The Nissan Skyline/GTR was denied to North Americans until the 2008. On the opposite side of the coin, the North American staple Ford Mustang featured a limited international presence until the introduction of the 2015 model year vehicle . Along with the Mustang, Ford's org...
